Well i've been a busy bunny designing kits for the last few months and i have neglected to make any new tutorials...but they have made a big comeback in the last few weeks so i have decided to start writing for my own PTU Kits and some for other designer friends!!

I am making a whole new tutorial blog with the help of a great friend Sox!!

So soon as its open i will be adding my brand new tutorial!!

..BLUE FOR YOU..

This tutorial was written by me Laura of Laura's Dezigns.

Supplies.

Kit used was YOU MAKE MY HEART BLUE made by BLUEDREAM DESIGNS. This
is a FREE kit and you can find this beautiful kit HERE.

The MASK used is one by an unknown designer but feel free to email me if this
is yours and i will get you added to my credits..

TUBE i used is a PTU artist called JENNIFER JENESKO Find her awesome work
HERE or tube of your choice.

FONT of your choice.Plugins used are EYE CANDY/Gradient Glow.

Right lets Go!

Firstly open up all your supplies in psp and a new image. Select NEW and i use
these settinngs 700 by 560. We will crop image later. This gives you plenty of
room to work with..

Now open up Bluey's you make my heart blue kit and select a paper you like
as your mask layer. Once paper selected resize to 100% and then go to Layers
-Load/Save mask from disk- select mask of choice and press ok. Now once
happy with masked paper, right click and select copy-merged and paste onto
your image.

.Now select a frame from the kit and copy/paste onto your mask layer, postion
where happy..

Now select a tube of your choice, a close up is good for this, Select your frame
layer and select magic wand tool, click somewhere inside frame layer. Up to
selections/modify/by 5....or your choice... C&P as new layer, back up to
selections/invert/hit delete on your keyboard. Back to selections.select none.
Drag your tube layer under your frame layer....

.Now place any embelishments around your tube and frame....give these drop
shadows if you chose. .

Now for the text select your text tool/font/size/colour...and write your text
out...apply when happy and position. I added a gradient glow, size 4..

Add your CR details and Name to your tag. .

Add any dropshadows.

Crop your image to size

And we're done..

Supplies

.Kit used was a fantastic PTU kit called Hearts Of Darkness by Kristina Angel of
SweetAngelDesigns. Click on her name to be taken to her store.

A MASK of your choice though a square one would work better.

Tube used is a PTU by the awesome JENNIFER JANESKO.

FONT of your choice.

PLUGIN used was EYE CANDY 4000/GRADIENT GLOW.

Right lets start..
Open up all supplies in PSP and a NEW image, 700 by 600.

Chose a paper from Kristina's kit and resize it to 100% then by 90.Go up to layers and LOAD/SAVE MASK FROM DISK, select a mask and when
happy hit OK. Right click and COPY MERGED and PASTE onto new canvas.

From the elements section select the round frame and copy/paste this onto
canvas in the centre of mask layer. Add a dropshadow is required.

At this point i selected the mask layer again and with my MAGIC WAND tool i
selected inside the mask. Chose another paper and copy/paste this as a new
layer, position and when happy go to SELECTIONS/INVERT. Hit DELETE on your
keyboard and SELECTIONS/SELECT NONE. Once done drag this layer under your
mask layer, it fill in all the gaps in the middle of the mask.

Now select your tube copy. Now select the frame layer and using your magic
wand again select inside the frame. Up to SELECTIONS/MODIFY-5 paste tube as
new layer, position inside frame and when happy up to SELECTIONS/INVERT.
Hit delete on keyboard. SELECTIONS /SELECT NONE. Again drag this under the
frame.

Now add any elements from kit, i used the hearts as i wanted to write in them
which we will do next.

So select TEXT tool and chose your FONT/SIZE/COLOUR- Apply when happy. To
this i then added the plugin, so up to where your plugins are, i used thin, size 4
white

.Add any dropshadows to your tag

.Now add your copyrights.And your finished...

This is a FREE kit and you can find this beautiful kit HERE.

TUBES i used are by PINUPTOONS. These are PTU. Find this amazing work
HERE or just use tubes of your choice.

Two Masks of your Choice. Heart Themed...

FONT of your choice.

Plugins used are EYE CANDY 4000 -CORONA.

Lets Begin....

..Firstly open yourself a new image. Select NEW and i use these settings 700
by 560. We will crop image later. This gives you plenty of room to work with..Now open up all your supplies in PSP. From Bluey's Kit i chose the two main
frames..and placed them as you can see above...COPY and PASTE method....

Now open up a paper of choice and at this point i wanted to make a mask layer
or two...so with your paper open go to LAYERS/LOAD/SAVE MASK FROM DISK
and select yourself a heart themed mask. Now when happy hit ok and COPY
MERGED and paste onto canvas.. Drag this layer under your frames..Repeat for
your second mask..Now its time to add your tubes...use very feminine ones..looking mad or cross.LOL

To add them first to the Multiple frame first you need to highlight the
frame layer. Now select your magic wand tool and click inside the first
square..Go up to SELECTIONS/MODIFY/BY 3. Chose tube and resize to whatever
size required and paste as new layer, Hit your Move tool and position tube
inside marching ants, once happy SELECTIONS/INVERT-HIT DELETE ON YOUR
KEYBOARD, this will lose any extra tube thats not required..SELECTIONS again
SELECT NONE. Then drag the tube layer under the frame layer...and that needs
to be repeated for all 4 squares..

Once that is done you can do exactly the same
for the main frame...exact same method...

Now all your frames should be full...

Its now time to add your wordart.

.Either follow mine or use your own...Hit your TEXT TOOL and then you will need to
chose your Font/Size/Colour type out your words and apply, move to where
required..I at this point added a plugin called EYE CANDY 4000/CORONA...Size i
used was ten and chose a colour from your canvas...

.Now from the elements section of Bluey's folder add whatever you like and add
drop shadows if required..

.Add copy rights and your name and you are finished...

Ready? Lets Go...!

Open all of your supplies in PSP.Click on my templete and delete the copyright
information. Highlight the back heart layer and go to selections select all float
and defloat and copy and paste a paper from your kit as a new layer selections
invert and hit delete.

.Highlight one of the heart layers and go to selections select all float and defloat
and copy and paste a paper from your kit as a new layer selections invert and
hit delete.. .Once again do this for the 2nd heart and the writing till all layers
are now your own filled with papers...
Highlight your back heart layer now and select your magic wand..Select a
paper of choice and copy and paste this to fill up the heart area...
Choose your tube now and add to canvas...give this a drop shadow if required..
Add any embelishments of your choice and add a dropshadow to each.I added
the flowers from the kit and some bows...
Now on each of the template layers i added a filter EYE CANDY 4000-CORONA-
select a colour and i used the size 6...use this where you like..
Add your name and copyright information and your all finished..I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. Hugs Laura xox

Supplies.

Kit used was A FESTIVE CHRISTMAS made by TAMMYGIRL0. This is a PTU
kit and you can find this beautiful kit HERE.

The mask used was one by VIX number 34 and you can find VIX'S site HERE.

TUBE of your choice i used one by a free artist called LORI.

FONT IS BLACK CHANCERY / OR FONT OF YOUR CHOICE.

Various plugins were used but will emaplain as i go.

Lets Begin....

..Firstly open yourself a new image. Select NEW and i use these settings 700
by 560. We will crop image later. This gives you plenty of room to work with.

.Now open up your kit folder and select a paper to create your mask layer with.
I used a blue christmas worded paper out of the amazing paper folder..Open your paper you selected. Now resize to 100% and i resized again by 90%.

To resize go to IMAGE AND RESIZE.

.Now go to Layers and select LOAD/SAVE MASK, LOAD/SAVE MASK FROM DISC.
Chose Vix's NO.34 MASK and press on ok. Once happy right click and copy
MERGED. On your blank canvas right click and paste as new layer.

Now you have your mask layer completed.

.Next i wanted a frame on my mask so i went and chose one from the kit and
copy/pasted and positioned onto my mask layer. I added a drop shadow by
going to EFFECTS/3D EFFECTS/ADD DROP SHADOW. Chose your own settings.
We need two of these frames so duplicate the frame you chose by right clicking
on the frame layer and clicking on DUPLICATE. Move this to the other side just
like you see mine is.

.Now to add the tube so they are inside your frame heres what you have to do. .

Firstly select your tube from your folder, and copy.

On your canvas select one of the frames and then select your magic wand tool. Click inside your frame layer and you should now see marching ants. Now paste your tube as new layer
and position using the move tool.. Once happen with position go to
SELECTIONS and INVERT hit delete on your keyboard,

Go back to SELECTIONS/SELECT NONE.

Now all thats left to do is go to layers and drag the
tube layer under your frame layer...and now repeat that process over again on
your other frame.

.Now i copied and pasted some elements from the kit. I used the train, hence
the name and the lamp post but feel free to play.... give these a drop shadow if
you want by going to EFFECTS / ADD DROP SHADOW. Also give drop shadows to
your frames.

.Now i added the TEXT chugging into christmas by selecting my TEXT tool. You
need to chose your colour/size/font and then type your message. Once happy
apply and move to where you want your text. Once happy convert to raster
layer.

.ADD COPYRIGHT....

.And give yourself a pat on the back, all done woot!!! YAY!!! I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. Hugs Laura xox
